INTRO Workshop
With EC funding, the three-year INTRO (Intelligent Roads) project has developed innovative methods to increase
the capacity of road infrastructure and maximise the safety and well-being of drivers, passengers, crew and
pedestrians. These involved the use and combination of existing technologies as well as combining them with
developing technologies in the fields of road surface safety monitoring; traffic and safety monitoring; and intelligent pavement and intelligent vehicles.
